- My name is Jessica. Jessica is the #1 MOST popular name in 1986. I was born in 1986. I guess that explains my desire to be unique. Rarely am I called by my full name. I am called Jeka by my family and my close friends. My brother couldn't say Jessica, I love the nickname. I don't like Jessie at all, older people always revert to that. I let it slide.:) Most call me Jess, because it is the one that has the least syllables. Lazies.:) ANYway, you may be wondering....why is this girl going on and on about her name? Well, thank you for asking. My name is really important to me. My name is means "blessed." And I am. Very. God is the source of that blessing, which reminds me of my names meaning every single day. I love life with a passion, BUT I know that this isn't it. I have come to learn that it isn't EVER about what you do in your life or what you accomplish, but how you do it and WHY you do it. God isn't going to care how famous we were with others, but how famous we are in HIS world. All that being said, I am extremely eclectic. I am not even going to explain. The blogs will do it for me.
